Résumé
the current research work investigates the experience of Black people in the UK from the second world war up to present time.first, it provides a detailed historical background concerning early Black presence in Britain. then, it investigates the origins of British policy in relation to race and immigration specifically during the mentioned period, showing the different attitudes white British citizens had towards white immigrants as compared to the Blck one; Finally, it looks at current challenges that face the Black community and the efforts they have made to adjust to the British culture displaying a number of figures that managed to achieve success in public life.
