Résumé
This research work entitled "Teaching Strategies of Specialized Translation. A case study in Technical English " deals with some theoretical aspects and reflections about the translation process in general and the application of the teaching strategies of specialized translation in particular. To translate is to render a message, information, text, book, etc, from one language into another, i.e from the source language (SL) into the target language (TL) thus; the mastry of the latter is necessery in the translation process. Translation of technical English from Arabic into English or vice versa; from English into Arabic represents, here, the core of the practical side of the research work. In other words, the practical analytical aspects of the issue are introduced throughout examples illustrating the structural and lexical features that specify the technical discourse among other types of discourse such as literature, philosophy, religion, science, etc. Therefore, the teaching strategies should be viewed with the practical side of translation strategies and procedures in the transfer process in translation particularly, in (ESP), (EST) and texts. Yet, according to some theorists optimum preconditions for determining translation equivalence (TE) prevail in (LSP) texts. Therefore, the translated text can attain the linguistic degree of (TE) in the field of (LSP/ESP) texts (specialised translation). However, the assumption that in cases where the objective of the text is simply and only to convey definite information; in other words, it is thoroughly impossible to produce an ideal translation which remains, sometimes, absolutely doutful.
