We will try to explore some tentatatives to construct spin-foam models for the MacDowell-Mansouri formalism of gravity. The research in the area is still at the beginning and one can expects to find interesting stuff seen that MacDowell-Mansouri formalism is more physically relevant than the usually more used for the spin-foam models Plebański formalism.
