Résumé
The motivation underlying this study is the low language proficiency level- mainly grammar and vocabulary knowledge, believed to be caused by teachers’ use of the Presentation-Practice-Production pattern as the only activity sequencing pattern.The study is framed within the area of materials development, basically the patterns of activity sequencing, through experimenting new patterns besides the traditional model presented in the Presentation-Practice-Production pattern (P-P-P pattern) with the aim of examining to what extent language proficiency- mainly grammar and vocabulary knowledge, is influenced by integrating the patterns of activity sequencing used.
