Résumé
The study aims at learning about the perceptions of aviation trainees and trainers at the Specialized Helicopter School (SHS henceforth) - at Ain Arnat2 Setif- with respect to English language skills namely listening and speaking, reading and writing, and specialist vocabulary. The study is conducted at SHS in Ain Arnat of Sétif Algeria on aviation training students and teachers. It provides a preamble to the dissertation by considering several important areas: purpose of the research, the research problem, the research questions, the research significance, means of research, the terminology adopted and the methodology followed
