Résumé
Exploitation of polarimetric information of optic electromagnetic waves makes today a subject of increasing interest in many research domains (fields) because it allows us to obtain more information about the analyzed medium. In this study, we are interested in the general problem of characterization of diffusing media. We propose an experimental setup which uses the polarized light transport to acquire the Mueller matrix (Matrix 4x4 2D). This matrix, composed by 16 images, is obtained with simulations achieved with Matlab. These images allow us to extract information about the optic properties of the diffusing medium, because they show all interactions between an electromagnetic wave and the studied sample. The experimental setup is made of: white light source, quarter-wave plates, polarizer, CCD camera, and the sample to analyze
