Résumé
Pergularia tomentosa. L (Asclepiadaceae) growing in Algeria has afforded 20 compounds one of which is isolated for the first time from a natural source: Gularine PC12, pergularine A PC13 and pergularine B PC14. The taraxasteryl acetate PC3, taraxasterol PC4, Oleic acid PC5, 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (9Z,12 Z) PC6, α – Amyrine PC7, These compounds were isolated before from the Asclepiadaceae family and 3-epi-Micromeric acid PC1, 16α-Hydroxytaraxasterol acetate PC2, 22 α-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-4(23),1(2)-en-3-oic acid PC8, 22 α-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-4(23)-en-3-oic acid PC9, and 22 α-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-1(2),4(23),12(13)-en-3-oic acid PC10 and (9Z,12Z)-octadecadienoic acid glucoside PC11 are isolated for first time from the plant, and the genus Pergularia.. The compounds Calactin PB1, 12β-hydroxycalotropin PB2, 6’-hydroxycalactin PB3, and Galakinoside PB5 have been isolated before from Pergularia Tomentosa (Asclepiadaceae ) and uscharidin PB4 is isolated for the first time from Pergularia genus. Sucrose PM has also been isolated and identified. Isolation of these compounds was carried out using chromatographic methods. Structure elucidation of the isolated compounds was achieved using different spectroscopic Techniques such as MS, UV, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 2D-NMR (COSY, HMQC and HMBC) and GC-MS. Compounds PCI-PC9 did not show any antimicrobial activity against three bacterial species (Staphylococcus aureus, S.aureus (MRSA) and Escherichia coli). But the compound BC10 showed activity against Staphylococcus aureus and did not show any activity against Escherichia coli and S.aureus (MRSA)
