Résumé
The media discourse “Tranche de Vie” is a way of communicating ideas about different topics related to the real environment of its producer El-Guellil: Algerian society in relation to modern world. What stands distinctive for it is the associated caricature beside the range of textual features it comprises. Puns (word play), neologism and French-Algerian Arabic code switching may be the essence of these features.
