Résumé
The thesis is mainly dealing with American Institutional discourses with regard to Islam and the issues that concern the Muslims around the world, whether they are of political, economic, socio-political, or spiritual nature. For this concern, two public discourses of former U.S president George Walker Bush parallel to two public discourses of U.S president Barrack Hussein Obama, and the reaction of the Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan to those public discourses respectively, will be analyzed from a post September 11 discursive perspective using the practice of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The thesis sifts through those speeches in an attempt to unveil the untold messages with regard to Islam and its vilification so as to justify the American aggressions on the Muslim world.
