Résumé
Today digital filters are replacing the analog filters in many modern electronic and telecommunication systems, especially those filters that are integrated in base station receivers for wireless applications. They are mainly used to filter incoming signals for unwanted channels and blockers. The objective of the research that will be conducted during this thesis is to analyze the existing structures of digital filters (FIR and IIR) developed for digital signal processing and telecommunication applications. The next stage will be devoted to the design RTL for FPGA implementation focusing on code optimization and FPGA resource minimization. In order to test the system, the architecture will be integrated in an environment consisting of a set of interfaces enabling the system to receive incoming data from an ADC and send filtered data to a pc for further analysis.
