Résumé
This is an effort of analyzing power and energy flows in electric circuits and systems (linear and non linear) using classical as well as newer approach no commonly used in Electrical engineering: he exergy approach; this, in view of better assessing energy efficiency and also working to relate it to sustainability. The study will further re consider the engineering suitability of some basic power and energy concepts sush as maximum efficiency and maximum power transfer in a real context wherein the power source (linear or non linear) is power limited. In the same vein, the study will address he power factor as a performance parameter in an electrical environment that is harmonically polluted I is hoped that the study will lead to results of a fundamental nature.
