Résumé
The aim of this research project is to investigate the way British Civilization module is taught to first year LMD students enrolled in the Department of English at Blida University. Throughout an analytical descriptive study, a focus is made on revealing the inadequacy of British Civiliaztion teachers’ methodology in terms of: (1) being non-convergent with current EFL teaching methodologies which stress interactive communication in the language classroom;(2) being inappropriate for enhancing students’ English linguistic capacities;(3)hindering students’ learning achievelents in British Civilization module.
