Résumé
Free radicals, such as superoxide anion, hydroxyl radical and peroxyl radical, are toxic and play an important role in many serious diseases such as cancer, diabetes, inflammatory diseases and rheumatoid arthritis. The interest in antioxidants has been increasing because of their high capacity in scavenging free radicals. The main objective of this study is to examine, firstly, the antioxidant activity of some Algerian medicinal plant extracts (prepared by using solvents of varying polarity) employing various assay systems. Secondly, the anti-inflammatory activity of these compounds in vitro and in vivo will be studied and trying to identify the structure of active molecules.
