A single- phase sinusoidedal current control PWM converter with regulated dc link voltage was designed and constructed. Bipolar power transistors were used as power switches and a hall effect transducer was used to isolate the dc the power circuit from the contol circuitry . The value the dc link capacitor was reduced to less than 1000 uF for a load of 1KW.
