The theme of this thesis is to deal with the low level part of motion perception process, i.e. that of motion detection and tracking of moving objects, the approach proposed, herein, avoids/copes with the difficulties encountred by conventioal techniques based on solving the correspondance problem or measuring local intensity changes in time-varying images
