Résumé
In both depot location and véhicle fleet composition problems,distribution managers are more concerned with long term.the depot location,vehicle routing and véhicle fleet composition problems are interrelated but are in practice usually solved independentely but are in practice usually solved independently.an extensive literature review of these problems is presented.difficulties encountered when dealing with distribution in practice are also highlighted.the combine location -allocation problem is analysed and approaches to improving the solution are given.
