Résumé
Imala is associated with the pronunciation of the arabic long /aa/ in final and less frequently in medial positions. As an Arabic phonological phenomenon, it had been studied by scholars such as Sibawaih and Jonathan Owens. It has always been given an importance by the « Qoraa » readers of the Holy Quran following the estabilished rules of « Qiraat » the reading of Quran.
