Titre
Advanced methods for the processing and analysis ofmultidimensional signals: Application towind speed
Mots clés
Renewable energy, Wind speed prediction,Combining predictions, Machine learning
Résumé
The predicting technique employed depends essentially on the available information and the time scale in question (horizon), and thus its application. For horizon periods ranging from few seconds up to minutes, the predicting goal is the control of wind energy conversion systems. Wind predictions in the horizon range of hours target the problem of scheduling in a power system, whereas predictions in the range of days are related with maintenance and resource planning
