Résumé
This study aims at determining whether there is a relationship between literary texts and second-year students’ written performance . for this sake, we used two random groups with an equal size. A control group which was taught with the usual method and an experimental group with which we used literary extracts to teach the writting skill. A pre-test was used at the beginning of the experiment to make sure that the subjects in both groups had approximately the same level in writting
