Résumé
In the old good time any talk on stability in differential equations leads to the talk of Lyapunov’s direct method. Unfortunately, the application of this method to problems of stability in differential equation with delay has encountered serious obstacles. This is due, may be, to the pointwise nature of the conditions asked by the method while real world problems ask for average conditions. In recent decades the investigation of stability by fixed point technique began. We have studied and contributed to this method and the present thesis is the result of five years of work. We present a collection of solutions to some problems that have offered resistance to Lyapunov’s method and give, what we hope, a detailed work which clearly establish fixed point theory as viable tool in stability domain
