Résumé
The recent curriculum reforms in the Algerian educational system resulted in the introduction of a new approach (Competency-Based Approach) to language learning and teaching. The implementation of the new approach and the new materials came with no theoretical and practical training for teachers. Moreover,teachers faced then and still face today practical constraints and challenges that hinder the effective implementation of the new program.
