Résumé
This research study has been carried out to answer the statement of the problem which is: whether the use of teachers’ authentic reading materials design as a teaching instructional method helps learners to improve their writing proficiency. Within this scope, the collected data of the pretest and the post test, as well as, the treatment period data reveals that the learners who follow the designed materials have shown progress in their writing performance. Their post test scores show that they have benefited from the use of authentic reading materials. The t test has confirmed that these results are statistically significant and not a mere chance findings.
